TMG took the initiative to comprehend a vision of developing extraordinary projects intending to enhance the standard of living for the citizens as part of the Egyptian government's strategy. Between 1986 and 1994, further expansion of the company's growth started by building "Al Rawda Al Khadraa,", "Virginia Beach" on the North Coast, Al Rabwa in Al Sheikh Zayed, and the May Fair in Al Sherouq.

In 1997, TMG started the transformation of the desert into a vibrant, dynamic city after conducting comprehensive research on the real estate market, residential requirements, trends, and desires by building Al Rehab City, which sought to accommodate young people, middle-class households, and affluent families. Al Rehab City is a self-sustaining community spanning over 10 million square meters with 300,000 residents offering affordable services and facilities.

The enterprise started to expand and unite as a group. There were 21 companies when TMG was originally founded in 1998. TMG made a significant contribution to the Egyptian economy in the tourism sector during 2002, being the first to partner with "Four Seasons," a renowned hotel franchiser with excellent luxury hotel experience worldwide, to manage and operate three of its hospitality landmarks in Egypt.

In 2005, TMG's vision for community development became bolder by establishing self-sustained communities. Among the group’s most prominent development projects is Madinaty, one of the largest modern cities in the MENA region, established in 2006, spanning over 33.6mn sqm and occupied by 400,000 inhabitants, with a target population of 1 million in 2035. This achievement was due to the future, experience, passion, and technology.

TMG took the lead in large-scale investments during 2018, aligning with Egypt’s vision for sustainable development, by the launch of Celia, the only project in the new capital that is located in the heart of the Green River and covers 500 feddans. In 2019, the group launched "Privado" the exclusive community within Madinaty, followed by the opening of "Four Seasons New Cairo Capital at Madinaty".

TMG launched Noor in Capital Gardens, the first smart-green city in front of the New Capital, with over 5,000 feddans and a total investment of EGP500bn. TMG also has a vision for expansion opportunities in Egypt, including new hotel and resort projects in Marsa Alam, with much more to come. On a regional level, TMG is penetrating the Saudi market with Benan, Al Riyadh project.
